€26,359 in Lottery Grants for community and voluntary organisations in Kerry – Brendan Griffin
Fine Gael Kerry TD, Brendan Griffin, has welcomed the allocation of €26,359 in Lottery Grants for community and voluntary organisations in Kerry, which provide healthcare related and social care services.
“My colleague, Minister for Health, Simon Harris, today announced €2.7 million in Health National Lottery Grants for community and voluntary organisations across Ireland.
“Over 120 community groups and voluntary organisations have received funding to support their work.
“Here in Kerry €26,359 has been allocated to four groups.
Arthritis Ireland Kerry €2,064
Jigsaw Kerry €1,500
Social Action Group Rathmore LTD €19,295
Beaufort Special Needs Project €3,500
“This funding will make a real impact on the services that volunteers and groups can deliver and help them continue to make a difference to the lives of the many people who use these services.
“As the economy continues to recover, Fine Gael is determined to ensure that the benefits of this recovery are felt in every community across Ireland and I am determined to ensure they’re felt across Kerry.
“As a Government TD for Kerry I am working hard to ensure that the Government delivers for Kerry. We are using the economic progress to make people’s lives a little better, and funding allocations like this one are very much part of that.”
